TBR HISTORY HOUR – 5/29/2020 – Lt. Col. Edwin Kennedy

TBR History Hour with Dr. Ed DeVries

In this 22nd broadcast of TBR Radio Presents: The TBR History Hour, Lt. Col. Edwin Kennedy, retired Professor of Military History from the Army Staff College talks about the historical importance of WWI.

Not only did WWI forever change the course of warfare, by introducing writ watches, machine guns, airplanes, tanks, and motorized vehicles into every day use; the Second World War was fought to resolve all of the many issues left unsettled at the end of WWI.

Korea, Vietnam, and even the modern day wars in the Middle East are all essentially the US and Britain cleaning up messes they made back in WWI.
