HITLER’S NOBEL PEACE PRIZE?
By Alex S. Perry Jr. It has been commented by many non-conformists that Hitler did not want war to erupt in the 1930s. But Poland was supported by British and French declarations, thereby increasing the bellicosity of the Polish war party. He sought peace with England and sought an alliance with her. Further, Hitler sought a disarmament treaty with both England and France and did everything else one could do to avert World War II.
HITLER’S SOCIAL REFORMS
By Dr. Erich Schinnerer. Though this article is heavy on legal theory, it is necessary to delineate some of Hitler’s social reforms of the 1930s. The institution of the commune as well as many economic reforms were enshrined in German law. Dr. Schinnerer shows the legal mentality behind Hitler’s fascist “social revolution.”
THE RAPE OF EUROPE
By Dr. Austin J. App PH.D. This article is one of the more disturbing TBR has run. It is an account, from first hand sources, of the rape and torture of German women by Soviet troops after their victory in the second world war. The diversity and unanimity of firsthand accounts make denial an impossibility: the greatest war crimes of World War II were committed by the Allies against helpless Germans after 1945.
A SENSE OF BETRAYAL
By Frank Joseph. The United States, in order to make the world safe for democracy, entered into a war that was none of its business, that is, World War I. American soldiers faced trench warfare, poison gas and disease to serve ends that were known only to the elite of the day. To add insult to injury, the World War I veteran was ignored and maltreated by the very system he fought to protect upon his return home.
THE ELITE WAR ON WHITE MALES
By Hugh Murray. Affirmative action is still a live issue in American politics, as whites are increasingly discriminated against by the system, passed over in favor of less qualified minorities, with absolutely no form of recourse. Blacks threaten violence if their system is dismantled; white politicians cower before them in fear. This lengthy article is a political and legal synopsis of this most misguided of social policies complete with the statistics that so many other articles on the subject lack.
COMETS & THE EGYPTIANS
By John Tiffany. Is modern man soon to face a meteor impact? The ancient Egyptians were certainly interested in this question. And they seemed to have had a greater amount of astronomical knowledge than modern man does.
THE NEW AMERICAN PRIMACY
By Robert K. Logan. The United States has taken over from the British the role of hegemon, or, more seriously, that of empire. As American money, materiel and patience begin to wane over the war in Iraq as well as dozens of other commitments globally, some more thinking about the nature of empire and its legitimizing ideology needs to be done…
THE OTHER SIDE OF MCCARTHY
By Mrs. Larry Lawrence Lent. What makes this treatment of “Tailgunner Joe” so important is that it is written by a woman who knew him personally and worked with him day in and day out. This article sets out to demolish the myths that have grown up around McCarthy: that he was a heavy drinker, that his policies “destroyed” innocent people, and that he was uninformed about world events. He was none of these things.
THE PEASANT IN OLD RUSSIA
By Dr. M. Raphael Johnson PH.D. Much is heard about the oppressed Russian peasant, the “serfs” and “slaves” (slavs) of pre-revolutionary Russia. However, recent literature has challenged this set of accusations and assumptions, bringing to the fore the profoundly democratic nature of the peasants’ native communal structure. This is a central issue in the re construction of Russian history so necessary as Russia herself is struggling with her own identity&
TRUMAN GETS THE WHITE HOUSE
By Alec Demontmorency. Corruption in the FDR administration was endemic. In order for an ambitious politician like Harry S Truman to go places, all he had to do was take advantage of this sleazy situation. In exchange for favors done, Truman was added to the vice-presidential ticket, leading him to the presidency once FDR died&
THE CORAL CASTLE MYSTERY
By Paul T. Angel. One small Latvian-American man said he knew the secrets of the pyramid builders. Judging from his amazing architectural accomplishments, he did…
