About the author: Alfred Rosenberg (1893–1946) was a Baltic German who was one of the earliest members of the NSDAP, editor of its official newspaper, ideological leader of the party and ultimately minister for the occupied Eastern Territories. Best known for his work, The Myth of the 20th Century, he was arrested by the Allies at the end of the war and executed after being found guilty of “war crimes” at the Nuremberg Trials.
