Lincoln’s Negro Policy

$6.00

By Earnest Sevier Cox. Lincoln’s Negro Policy.Throughout his adult life the author of this booklet had one goal: the settlement of the race problem in the United States.

After years of study and contact with African-Americans, he was convinced that the problem has no solution save in one or the other of two forms—separation of the races or amalgamation. Convinced that separation is preferable to amalgamation, Cox worked with Negro leaders of the “Back-to-Africa” movement, and kept in touch with many of them until his death in April of 1966.

Lincoln’s Negro PolicyLincoln’s Negro Policy

By Earnest Sevier Cox. Throughout his adult life the author of this booklet had one goal: the settlement of the race problem in the United States.

In this booklet he shows that Abraham Lincoln repeatedly advocated repatriation of the American Negro in a land of his own where the race would not lose its purity; that, contrary to allegations from some sources that Lincoln changed his views regarding this matter, he was making plans to establish a colony in Africa for American blacks right before his murder.
